Looking up at trees I find that a wide variety of sensations are evoked. For this series I use photographs I take of trees to create artworks that each reflect a certain psychological characteristic or state. My process for creating these artworks is exploration and experimentation, rather than preconception. For each piece I refine the image, but there is no compositing, it is art created from a single exposure. For most the colors are dramatically changed, but also, for a few, I create graphically bold B&W's. Overall the results are abstract to varying degrees; I consider this imagery to be 'Abstracted Reality'.
